Councillor
Mike Taffinder
Biography
I joined the Royal Marines in 1961 and spent the next 32 years serving in various Commando units around the globe. My last appointment was running the Commando Training Centre near Exmouth in the early 90s. On leaving the Royal Marines I worked for a nautical charity for 6 years before moving to North Devon in 2002 where I set up my woodcrafts business in North Buckland which has kept me busy for the last 20 years. I became a Parish Councillor in 2015 and have thoroughly enjoyed playing what I hope has been a constructive part in Parish life.
